I'm aware of your skill when it comes to craftsmanship with small and intricate parts. How well would you fare with larger projects? Are you adept at carpentry as well?

I'm pleased to hear it. I would like to learn how to build a house.

I've drafted a crude blueprint that I mean to take in for review, to ensure that rooms are positioned in the most appropriate places to maximize plumbing and atmosphere retention. All that remains is to purchase the land, and learn the skills.

I could spend my hours as an apprentice to a variety of craftsmen if you need more time.

It's necessary, is it not?

But perhaps you're correct. I am no longer entirely certain how my time here should be spent. Pursuit of knowledge seems a worthy endeavor, but the knowledge will not remain with me.

I suppose we both hold that view.

Does the work interest you? I will not be angry if you decline.

[Fun...? Most wouldn't consider hard labor to be fun, but now that he's mentioned it, she has to admit that this could be considered recreational for her as well. She smiles.]

I anticipate there will be errors and frustration in abundance. But yes. I would find this fun as well, particularly with your company.

Agreed.

The blueprints are attached. Don't hesitate to let me know if you would like anything added for your own personal comfort.

[The two-story cottage is modest by Schnee standards. It's still fairly large for only having two bedrooms and bathrooms, with a spacious kitchen, and a large living area with bay windows and a part sketched in that indicates she wants seats built there as well. The bedrooms are on the second story, with a pair of French doors leading to a fenced balcony big enough for a decent set of patio furniture.]

[That gives her pause. Why is he questioning it? He has a toothbrush in her bathroom that she hasn't thrown away for two months. Should she bring it up...? Well. Perhaps she should. They're far enough along that he would probably be okay telling her he's not interested rather than running for the hills.]

I assume you would spend a great deal of time there. You may even choose to move in, if that pleases you.

Acceptable, and appreciated.

Is there anything in particular you might like to have?

A mini-bar?

A nursery?
specialist_snowflake: (...Huh!)

Your humble ways are noble, but unnecessary. Do try and think of something nice you would enjoy. A soaking tub, perhaps, or a place to work on your crafts.

Why don't you add them on, and send them back once you're satisfied? The cost isn't an issue, as I'm certain you're aware. I'll take the plans to an architect in the morning for review and corrections.
